Look at the numbers first
Before recommending anything I want to see what the data says. Opinions about where the problem sits are often close, but rarely exact, and the gap between the two is usually where the money is.
About
I have worked across financial modelling, accounts payable and receivable, revenue operations, business development and leadership. The common thread is being handed something that was not working and being expected to sort it out.

Background
A quarter of a century in finance covers a lot of ground. I have built the models that decided whether a business hired or held off. I have rebuilt receivables ledgers that had quietly become a cash problem. I have run revenue operations where sales and finance had stopped speaking the same language, and I have led teams through the change that came with it.
Alongside that sits business development and growth work, which matters here because it keeps the finance view honest. A process that is clean on paper and slows down a sale is not a good process.
The work is not limited to one market. I am based in Melbourne and currently support businesses in Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and the United Kingdom. Remote delivery makes that straightforward, and sitting across four markets means I see the same scaling problems solved in different ways.
More recently the work has moved further into systems. Processing, optimisation, automation and AI assisted workflows now do a large share of what teams used to do by hand, and knowing where to apply that is worth as much as knowing the accounting.
Areas of experience
Approach
Three things shape every engagement, whether it runs for a fortnight or a year.
Before recommending anything I want to see what the data says. Opinions about where the problem sits are often close, but rarely exact, and the gap between the two is usually where the money is.
New software laid over a broken process gives you a faster broken process. I sort out the steps, the owners and the handovers first, then automate what is left.
The work is documented and handed over as we go. If your team cannot operate what I build once I step back, it was not finished.
The brand name is a promise about method.
Analyse, innovate, optimise. Understand what is actually happening, find a better way to do it, then tune it until it runs without drama. It sits on the logo because it is the order I work in.
Referral partners
I run a referral partner program covering the areas that sit next to my work. Bookkeeping and tax, lending and finance broking, legal, marketing, recruitment and technology implementation.
The reason is simple. Businesses in the middle of a scaling problem do not want to brief five specialists and then manage the overlaps. You explain it to me once. I handle my part, bring in a partner where it makes sense, and keep the pieces pointed in the same direction.
If your business would be a good partner in that network, that conversation is open too.
Tell me what is happening in the business and I will tell you honestly whether I can help.
